SAFARI ITINERARIES
Destination Summary & Some Safari Itineraries:
Below are some of our safari itineraries, descriptions of the main parks, and accommodations. Our safaris begin around 8AM on day one. We depart from Moshi/Arusha when done following a Kilimanjaro climb. We depart from Arusha when done preceding a climb. All safaris end in the midafternoon on the last day in Arusha. Safaris are private; we do not operate group safaris. You decide what you want to see and for how long. You can depart on any day, for any period of time. A minimum of three days is recommended, and the five day itinerary is the most popular choice amongst our clients.

1 Day (Arusha National Park)
Day 1 - Drive to Arusha National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch. Return to Arusha.
2 Days (Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater)
Day 1 - Drive to Tarangire for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast, Proceed to Ngorongoro for crater game drive with picnic lunch. Return to Arusha.
3 Days (Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire)
Day 1 - Drive to Lake Manyara for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast, Proceed to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Breakfast, Proceed to Tarangire for game drive with picnic lunch. Return to Arusha.
4 Days (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater)
Day 1 - Drive to Tarangire for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast, Proceed to Serengeti with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Breakfast, game drive in Serengeti with picnic lunch. Return to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Breakfast, Drive to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive with picnic lunch. Return to Arusha.
Note that we do not visit the Serengeti on itineraries less than 4 days. The Serengeti is an 8-hour direct drive from Moshi, and shorter itineraries do not allow time to travel and view game. Our 5 day safari is our most popular itinerary. It visits four parks and is highly recommended.
5 Days (Lake Manyara, Olduvai gorge, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire)
Day 1 - Drive to Lake Manyara for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast, Drive to Olduvai Gorge for picnic lunch. Proceed to Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Breakfast, Full day game drive in Serengeti. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Breakfast, Proceed to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 - Breakfast, Game drive in Tarangire with picnic lunch. Return to Arusha.
6 Days (Lake Manyara, Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire)
Day 1 - Drive to Lake Manyara for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 - Breakfast, Drive to Olduvai Gorge with picnic lunch. Proceed to Serengeti. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 - Breakfast, Full day game drive in Serengeti. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 - Breakfast, Full day game drive in Serengeti. Picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 - Breakfast, Proceed to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Breakfast, Game drive in Tarangire with picnic lunch. Return to Arusha.

Day 5 - Breakfast, Full day game drive in Serengeti. Picnic Lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 - Breakfast, Proceed to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 - Breakfast, Game drive at Tarangire with picnic lunch. Return to Arusha.
On 5-7 day safaris, we offer an optional morning hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti.
